Bison River Resort is ideally located on the River Kali near Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary in the state of Karnataka, South India.
The charming cottages overlook the majestic Kali River in a sprawling complex dotted by age old trees of Rosewood, Kindal, Jack-Fruit, Coconut Palm, Mango Tree, & Betel. All cottages are with semi-open & open private sit-outs overlooking the river with a strategically located dinning & conference hall.
The Resort is an entity of Indian Adventures Wildlife & Adventures Resorts, the pioneers of Wildlife & Adventure tourism in India. Resident naturalist accompany the guest, for Jungle Safaris, Crock-Trek, Nature Treks and Coracle Rides along with a host of other activities. Dandeli is a birders paradise with a count of 250 species of birds of which 50 no. are seen in an around the resort. While Water Rafting is an added thrilling attraction which is conducted over a 9 km stretch on the Kali River.
A central majestic dinning hall offers a variety of cuisine along with a well stocked bar over looking the panoramic Kali River. Spend your day with exciting safaris, river activities, Bird watching, nature treks or simply laze around on a hammock reading a book.

A full day excursion to experience a Tibetan settlement within a 3 hours driving distance from Bison River Resort. The self sustained community center were Monks & Lamas live. Explore their lives & traditions by visiting their monasteries, temples, cottage industries along with an authentic Tibetan lunch.
3-4 nights for good wildlife sightseeing along with adventure activities & other sight seeing.
